How To Succeed
Congratulations for the making the choice to begin learning classical Hebrew!
Let me begin by explaining how each unit is organized. Every unit begins with a video lecture in which I lay out the basic material to be covered and I introduce the main concepts.
Then I provide you with screencasts where I walk you through the material, step-by-step. Imagine that I'm writing this on a white board (or chalk board!). The advantage with this format is that you can return to the lesson as many times as you need in order to understand the concepts. The screencast pages also have a place for comments. This is where you can ask questions, make observations, or provide suggestions for improvement. If you prefer, you can also email me directly with a question.
Following the screencasts, I will provide mini-quizzes, vocabulary lists with video walk-through's of the new words, exercises that are downloadable and answer keys or answer walk-through's.
Finally, at the end of each unit, we will look at a bit of text to see how the concept plays out in the text.
As we get deeper into the material, the text study will get more robust.
Good luck!
